Forza Horizon 6 confirmed to be playable on Steam Deck / SteamOS

Fantastic news! I was afraid it would be as unplayable as the last Forza.

Always been a fan of the more casual FH setting and Tokyo is the setting I wanted for years. Will definitely pick this one up.

One of the things I love about this site is learning about open source projects I didn't even know existed. This is almost as amazing as the open source Cannon Fodder I read about here... Thank you, I <3 Open Source and having some of my favorite games in a timeless, platform-agnostic version always makes me happy.

I am not tech-savvy enough to understand exactly what this is about, but that screen shot of TA Kingdoms brought a warm and fuzzy feeling to my stomach.

Right. The shit that ruined dating apps, default settings of phone selfie cams and the self-perception of millions of young people now should also ruin my video games?

I don't think so.

Unless it's Morrowind with DLSS 5.0, of course.

Bethesda reveal the huge Starfield Free Lanes update and new Terran Armada DLC

I remember, Starfield came out during a time I didn't keep up with video games and video game news at all. I literally heard of that game for the first time on the same day it was released - in my Steam launcher. Saw that big shiny in-launcher ad, thought "oh, a Bethesda game", downloaded it and absolutely loved it for some 50-60 hours.

Then I looked into the internet about Starfield for the first time and was surprised just how much hate it had garnered. I am pretty sure, had I tried the game with a negative mindset (or with high expectations from someone who waited for it for years), I would have enjoyed it far less or not at all. And I hate that part of me that can be influenced by the opinion of others.

Either way, despite its shortcomings, I will definitely give this update a try. If they somehow fixed the immersion factor of traveling, this would be a huge step into the right direction. The other one would be having more diverse procedural generation, so I could finally have my Daggerfall in space.

How come I never heard of this game? 1998 was my heydey and bought every gaming magazine there was in the 90s.
I must have been too busy with Baldur's Gate, Fallout 2 and Might & Magic 6 🤔

Sony PlayStation reportedly moving away from PC ports

The only Sony-exclusive games I wanted to play in recent history were Gran Turismo and Bloodborne and they never ported those anyway. So I guess not much of value is lost for me.
