43/100 is pretty good and important to note that one of the hundred is actually the steam controller and some of the others, as much as we might like, would never come to Linux. That isn't to say that, come time for sequels, such as with Mafia 3, the strength Linux has behind it now might bring a port next time.
I've been hearing "Year of the Linux Desktop" for the last twenty years, but perhaps, maybe, 2017 might be the year Linux breaks through enough to see most games released with a Linux version...

Why don't we, at GoL, start a donation thingy where we can put a pound, dollar or whatever, in every now and then and once it gets to a certain value, sweet treats of some kind are sent to porters?

I will be getting this at some point, for sure, but my wife keeps asking if there's any kind of value system for parks, such as how Theme Park would do the auctions... anyone able to answer this?

Quoting: N30NDoes Kodi still lack live TV playback? The reason I've stuck with MythTV for so long was because of the easy access to terrestrial live TV.Quoting: JSVRamirezWhat do you use for TV on the prospective SteamOS box?I'd go with Kodi and your preferred PVR backend [External Link].

Liam,
What do you use for TV on the prospective SteamOS box? I've been thinking about moving over to SteamOS, but MythTV is holding me back; I'm less confident about setting up MythTV on SteamOS than using pre-packaged Mythbuntu.
Also, while I hope against hope that Linux gaming manages to break through, I don't feel like we can take much comfort in 1600+ games on Steam. Many of these are low quality indie games or iOS/Android freemium games ported over.
I'm hoping that 2017 brings more high quality indie games and AAA games... the Humble Indie Bundles are becoming less frequent, I'm sure, and I don't know how much is their new profit-making plan and how much is that there just aren't the high quality indie games there used to be.

I'm waiting on Carmageddon too, but my biggest disappointment was Godus; first with the promise of Linux on their non-Linux engine and then that the game sucked so hard in the end anyway (apparently)
I guess I'll have to keep waiting for a new Populus 3...

"Warning: This title uses 3rd party DRM"
Can anyone give some more detail about this?
Quoting: WienerWuerstelNo, it means the Kalypso Launcher which wasn't even used in the OS X and GNU/Linux Version of Tropico 5. So we can hope that Crookz doesn't need it either, at least not on OS X and GNU/Linux.Excellent, thanks.
