Honestly Epic, is just doing nothing for the community of gaming, I bet other platform offers the same % against Steam. But the only they are doing is cashing the money for those publisher.
For one point I bet people will wait a year that is exclusive game pass and buy the game cheaper at Steam with any offer. I'm not a fan of these saga, but I bought one like 6 months ago, I like it (very unique and challenge ) and also like to support Feral.
I will like to know how much the money they made releasing a game on epic and then in the others store. Also Epic must doing games if they want more people use their client.
Right now is already pass the game of Metro I m still waiting for the release on Linux if someday is release I won't mind to wait but when is release I will buy it on steam.
As example we have Valve they release Alyx and also they said now are focusing on making more games. They have their games that are the starts like Cs GO or Dota 2, but they understand that won't last. The same happen with the Epic store give a couple of years and won't generate the same amount of user as today, thanks to Fortnite.
The only great client at less won't care of release their gaming in other platform is GoG I wish they had a native client for Linux.

The AMD RX 480 seems to have power issues you may want to be aware of

The funny part is already cards having the same issue, and no one make a big deal.
If people that made so many articles and afraid to damage their hardware they just don' t need to do the test on their hardware usually places that make this kind of measures or testing, have plenty of hardware to reproduce the error or try to damage their hardware in some situations.
So people are making a big deal where is not. Let the places that make review do their test, then wait for the company to respond to that experiments found it.
Anyway the only things is that the graphics cards are demanding more power from the pci express, than usually. That is the only problem if this situation make failure hardware then we need to worry, they need do a better research and for that they need time.
About Creak said Amd said it will work on 6 pin connectors, and it does, isn't it? Remember when you make an specification for anything you can make tolerance, between some ratio that make the hardware works without problem, even when you calculate something you need to do that or to the found an error.
The main problem here is that articles are making a huge deal with the topic then when you read, the topic is already misleading. Even in GOL "The AMD RX 480 seems to have power issues you may want to be aware of". The good things is explain and give some good advice as others company been in the past.

Here there is nothing new even you don't need to own a steam machine we the majority tested in our own, We knew the performance was less of course, what do u expect when you use some translation or wrapper from directx to openl more cpu more gpu and less performance of course is different is already native.
The only things that those guy just did a benchmark without understand how everything works. Just make oh check the results but you need to explain how this result were affected, and how it works.
All the games that have been release the majority were designed to been use with directx.

I always said that kickstarter must be a option what the reason that you support this game of development, if you don' t get the goal they must refund their money.
Lot of company that use kickstarter promise the heaven and the end the just bring some stuff nothing that is promised.
I believe the best is not support that kind of games and wait for them release it, or make better the option of supporter.
Anyway there are bunch of game as the game already on linux and buy it they need the support not the missing it. sword coast look amazing, pilars of eternity and more there is where need the money make a promise and they did it.
