Alien: Isolation Delayed For Linux
30 Sep 2015 at 1:11 am UTC

I think is one thing said we don' t support but I will like to read reason why they didn' t support it, please don' t come with the drivers sucks and all that stuff. I will like to read what are the problem they are facing on amd hardware and nvidia hardware is ok, at less in oss I understand that doesn' t have all the same support of OpenGl so that is the reason won't work, but as Catalyst none developer said the reason at less name it.

On Pre-Orders And Other Nasty Buying Habits
29 Sep 2015 at 12:07 am UTC

About this:
Sites like Kinguin and G2A have games for a ridiculously low price when compared to stores like Steam. Sometimes this is due to these resellers buying from cheap regions like South America and then selling to us in Europe or North America. Some could consider this alone to be a bit unethical but sadly, it gets even worse.
I live in south america and believe me the games that here sell it are way more expensive than north america and europe, any new game can be selling here at 100 or 120 dls when is just been release, now Illegally is other history. I believe sites like G2A or others is some other way they sell the games are not legally I don' t understand how they can sell way more cheaper than steam or even the publisher with discount and even gain some profit of that.
Greetings.

Don't Count On Any EA Frostbite Powered Games On Linux
12 Sep 2015 at 2:59 pm UTC

I seen some nice games of EA but at same time I don' t care, I dunno why for some reason EA doesn't bring a good feeling, to me looks like a company just care about the money and not passionate of doing games. Maybe I' m wrong but that is my feel so whatever EA do not interested. Even when I used windows I stop playing EA games like at 98 with FIFA.

This must stop now, why do you make a kickstarter selling to people your game will be supported to any platform and suddenly when you are to release it, you realize that you won't make the goal.
This mean don't say something you can do when you know you cannot do it. If their having problem with just the windows release, focusing all the man power to the windows why you select PC.
This happen the same with big company and small one, just don't say something you will do it.
The funny part of this if I use the same way to my job I will fired in one instant oh I said I will do it but I can't. To me Kickstarter is becoming laugh of supporters.

Looks Like Shadow Of Mordor Won't Support AMD Graphics On Linux At Release
13 Jun 2015 at 1:55 pm UTC Likes: 2

I m more at the side of Maelrane than Liam, part fault is the developer choose a graphics card to make the game, an example on windows to witcher 3, they have better performance with the hair and with amd the frames drop a lot.
I agree that AMD is the mainly fault that their games are not full support at linux but remember AMD buy this from ATI and ATI their main problem was always their drivers and great hardware(now they have better driver at windows), but also what is the reason the developer choose Nvidia, no one said it, they have a better api or some tricks to develop game who doesn't know. I think they should do it neutral and don't pick a card to do a game(or it's that nvidia put money for development on their hardware). If you want a close hardware make just the game to console that is easy is the same hardware. If you would like to do a game for pc remember the many configurations that must be also consider.
This is like windows and linux, i choose do it, just one way for avoid issues with the others SO, I choose one card that will be supported the other might have some problems. It's the same. That mean I will focus on this hardware so people would like to play my game bought nvidia.
The main problem as Maelrane suggest, nvidia the problem they make properties things and just focus on their hardware that is not bad to a company but affect to pc gamers, that things PhysX they just bought it and make property, they make a g-sync they make it closed(they should make it open to any card, just selling that the hardware has nvidia is enough on the monitor ), they lie to their client about the new card 970 and so on. If they do more to the community as properties things they do, it will be better a way for pc gamers.
