I can't install this driver. It complains about the EGL path not being set, and I have no idea where to manually set the path. :/

Quoting: KimyrielleThe amount of devs using Windows-only middleware to develop a game with and still expect it to magically compile in Mac and Linux down the road is really mindblowing. Do these people even read the system requirements of their tools before they install them? Where did these so-called "professionals" learn their craft anyway?Places like Full Sail and Digipen... Their training materials and tools are VERY Windows-centric, from what I can tell. They apparently like to say things like "Industry standard" and "robust" and "convenient tools" to their students...
And yes, don't back a KS project unless it's from a studio having a -proven- track record on Linux.

Quoting: MikeFinally. It was about time! And maybe when they will be done with this they can look into making Steam Broadcast work on Linux too.Yes! This has been a HUGE annoyance to me and many others for a LONG time now. Judging by this new light on VR, maybe we'll finally see it.

Quoting: tijderGOG doesn't even bother to put Linux in the submit a game form. That's just depressing. I really wish that storefronts, developers, gamers, etc. would stop being so embarrassed at having the word 'Linux' anywhere on their pages in anything other than negative or misleading articles or unfavorable mentions...

Wow... From the comments here, it looks like most of us are just gonna pack up the picket signs and throw in the towel. That's it? That's how little willpower we have as "gamers" and "Linux users", that we are willing to be defeated and emotionally distraught every time some scumbag publisher or studio stands us up?
Screw them! If they are so willing to ignore their potential customers, then they and their games are worth neither our time nor our effort. Let's move forward, people! On to greener pastures, and possibly kinder horizons. I for one choose to stand strong! I, for one, will not let a handful of cancelled or permanently delayed games stop me from enjoying what is available already, and I won't let them stop me from enjoying what is to come.
For shame!

Personally, I feel like it's a bit old-fashioned, which for a 90s kid like me tickles my nostalgia. Here's hoping this plays out in our favor.

Quoting: InverseTelecineWell let's not bury the Linux version before it's even had a chance to kill itself. If we act like we care maybe they will be less likely to think no one does and scrap it. I for one do care! It looks like a really cool game! Will there be stones thrown if I say I like furry characters? This^
