I have picked CS:GO. Unfortunately I missed that >75% sale last spring but at least i got some cents off compared to gift trade and made a "pure Linux purchase" (wonder if that is counted in any way).
Is that sale supposedto be a teaser, or is winter coming early to Valve?

[...] a full test" and QA would cost £30,000.1. I think £30,000 are quite high, that should be 1/2 year payment (probably longer) for 1 programmer. If the code is written multiplatform from scrap it should be much better and faster compared to code revision or another company doing the port. For testing they would find 3-5 competent people of the Linux-community.
GPU driver performance issuesThat should be a problem of Nvidia/AMD if there are any issues. Valve showed that the linux performance doesnt have to be worse than Window's.

Did anyone who owns an Nvidia card put this in the Steam Launch options for the game:On my machine this isnt't working with 650M GT. Games do not start with " __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1 " As a graphics boost is welcome at any time, someone might know a solution.
LD_PRELOAD="${LD_PRELOAD} libpthread.so.0 libGL.so.1" __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1 %command%

Really love Aspyr, great game and port of Borderlands 2. No crash nor non-trivial graphical issues (in contrast to Metro eg.). Aspyr-blair does great community work in his steam-thread, by frequent
and kind posts of information and support.
GamingonLinux you have a great layout and thanks much for the linux game sale reminder. As linux gaines obviously more and more weight in the gaming business I've set this awesome site as start page.
Things go in the right direction: Love it!
PS: The livestream was awesome (We 14+2 know why :whistle:

Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider ports would be great indeed, as I already own them. BI is a great title but unplayed for months as rebooting and waiting for all the win updates causes much annoyance. TR is barely playable on wine but I cant enjoy the rich graphics that way.
