No changelog on what they did, no update to GOG version.

Another abandoned Nightdive release on GOG along with Turok and Forsaken Remastered.

Pre order DLC skins not available for GOG release. It's enough to call it a deal breaker in my book.

@mrdeathjr - any luck with getting the videos of Elderborn to work? Been a while since I tested it.

Also - how did you get NTsync to show up in Mangohud? I can't find the right switch.

I will definitely buy it when the time comes, but it will definitely be on a discount. No way I'm paying €80 for a game.

Crysis Remastered Trilogy gets a GOG release with the original Crysis now in the GOG Preservation Program

My last Crysis purchase was the original Crysis 2 on physical disc (which I still have) and that was around the time I started buying less and less physical games due to DRM.

This will be the first time I get to play Crysis 3.

The game looks like something I would enjoy however these devs don't deserve the money.

First they try to con you into pre-ordering with exclusive items which are not available for purchase after the release. To add insult to injury, the game is a technical mess judging by the multiple Steam posts.

Had it not been for the pre-order exclusives, I would have bought it down the line when it's properly patched and playable.

Played the 2013 game via Wine few years ago from start to finish without issues. I had started the second one (it's DRM-Free on Epic) but never finished.

Yet another Instabuy for me, I've long waited to play these games.

My only worry is that my wallet will not survive all these discounts

Instabuy as I was hoping for it to show up one day.

Baldur's Gate 3 gets a Native Linux version to improve it on Steam Deck
23 Sep 2025 at 5:08 pm UTC Likes: 3

Part of me wishes to complain how Steam Deck users get their own native version of the game. On the other hand I also understand that advertising the game as officially Linux supported will open a can of worms due to the thousands of different hardware combinations and driver versions. So yeah, not blaming Larian for their decision.

Can anyone copy the "Steam Deck" version to a Linux desktop to see how it runs?

@melkemind: I believe they did a Linux version as they sort-of promised it in their Kickstarter. This was of course all the way back in 2013 and the native version required a user-made patch to run on anything other than proprietary Nvidia drivers. Personally I'm currently playing through it using the Windows version with over 63 hours in already and I haven't encountered any crashes or issues.

The way I see it - BG3 runs fine using Wine/Proton on desktop. Could it run better as native? Possibly, but then again nowadays I'm fine with playing Windows games in Linux as long as they run almost on par.

The people who approved this are most likely not gamers to begin with. They would know this is very common in many games.
