I didn't back any KS games yet, despite some of them being really good. Larian did make a lot of mess ups with the Linux version of D: OS I admit, my guess is that they weren't ready for it, for the record many companies weren't ready for Linux.
The company is a good one though and I'll probably back D: OS 2 this time around. As a Linux gamer there's something that I always keep in mind - the Linux gamer base is the smallest out of the 3 PC platforms yet some companies still invest their time, money and effort to deliver those games to us. It's a slow process but it's finally starting to be recognized as a viable gaming platform.
The game will arrive over 1 year late and it has disappointed many fans, but one thing still matters: It's coming.
Stop complaining :-)

Terraria Now Available DRM Free For Linux On GOG & Out Of Beta

I for one, dislike automatic updates, achievements and all the fluff clients have, the browser way is just what I wanted. The GOG Galaxy client for Linux will come at some point, there's no release date though.

Quoting: paupavGog should really make proper client for Linux.I've been downloading with the browser since 2011 without any issues, can pause the downloads just fine. Never had to use the terminal either, just Firefox + downthemall addon.
Downloading from the browser is horrible idea, since you can't pause and most of the people (I think) including me don't wanna use terminal to get their games.

Haven't finished this game yet, shortly after I started it they released an incompatible update with the older savegames and I didn't want to start over. I'll start it when 2.0 lands and of course that expansion is a must buy.
DiRT Showdown Tested On Linux, Preview Port Report

Well this is kind of surprising, I'm referring to the 560ti card here which is an old model. Considering it's a wrapper and runs at almost 60fps on high details is pretty good as this doesn't dishearten the budget GPU owners.
My only VP Game atm is Witcher 2 which already runs pretty well in Linux. But if they can improve even better? This could be a very good solution for old titles. Though I'll always prefer a native port, whenever possible.

I find wrappers fine for old games as I understand devs may not want to spend a lot of money, and If I'm not mistaken Showdown wasn't the most well received DiRT game in the series.
Personally I won't buy this since it's DRM'ed but I'm still thankful to Codemasters for doing it. VP has indeed came a long way since Witcher 2.
I hope CDPR will not resort to VP for Witcher 3 on Linux though, Feral and Aspyr do a very good job and it's them who should be doing it if CDPR lacks the manpower / experience for it.

Excellent work Feral :-)
Happy Birthday Liam and thanks for the review. I hope Witcher 3 goes along this path rather than a quick wrapper job.

Since both Kotor games are also on GOG I hope they add the Linux port there too. For the record I was never a Star Wars fan (don't hate me) but I would buy this just because it has a native port now.
