Wow, another one goes there and let's celebrate that an open-source game is distributed throughout a proprietary platform. Wait what? Sounds like an error? Yes, it is. But nothing more to say, celebrate whatever you want, making your local distribution to another copycat of Windows, full of more proprietary services. Nothing learned!

Oh well: Defective by Design when needing some client-software to establish a connection between systems. No thanks for more to know! :(

Wow, hey could getting some carrot for what exactly? Making some kind of commercials for the platform while they trash with Ubuntu 14.04 an even supported system? No thanks! Taking some other time to play "monkey business" and ask for some bananas.
The new GOG profile system is out, looks quite slick

Why should I even care about such nonsense? Another profile telling me how long I was active within a game? Not needed. Just something for the digital self-imagery and even though I think this is dangerous because we don't care about each other using more and more of such false "social media". Come on: A company telling us being friendly about that? They wouldn't even care, when most people wouldn't be that reactive and could be reduced to that data. Once it was fun hunting for a highscore in a game together, now it is also about hunting, but for own data being sold out, alone.
War for the Overworld has a huge patch and DLC release

When talking about Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2: There are no real successors until today. Both Dungeons and War for the Overworld are using the Unity-Engine. Besides being not really optimized, those "games" just collect telemetry-data without further asking. The better alternative? Using Wine for the known old classics: Both working without further problems and Dungeon Keeper even using KeeperFX [External Link]!

And another proprietary game on a proprietary platform. Always a riddle having this distributed on a free operating-system!

Presented on a proprietary platform, done throughout proprietary drivers perhaps? Nevertheless as always: Running older games with Wine is one thing, but already dongled stereotypes because F.E.A.R. 3 is NOT available back off from Steam. Enough to argument again: That's NOT "free as in freedom" making GNU Linux to another Windows-copy.

There were enough possibilities for envolving the community itself helping: We are talking about free, libre, open-source base and enough engines preferable, but what do they use? The Unreal Engine 4, which are open-source under corporate licensing. It had been enough remaking the first part with some graphics comparable to System Shock 2 these images show just the opposite. No thanks!

Besides the named problems with fullscreen-support: The game is not working really good using integrated graphic processors while the classic version does without problems. So much about those optimizations! Tested and rejected this really bad optimized version.

Quoting: F.UltraAnd it is exactly that kind of wrong doing this. Instead it would be better asking for help and not collecting information as default setting or some kind of opt-out process. Besides: We are not talking about "customers" and instead of that "users". Those steps do irreversible damage to free software!Quoting: razing32Are data slurps the new trend ?It's the default because it's so extremely helpful to know exactly what kind of setup your customers actually use.
I get helping with development but it seems to be a default nowadays . :dizzy:
