Quoting: mrdeathjrEasily for games, in this case EA games (EA dont have any interest in drm free games)
That is the problem with this company! :( Some games are really nice but it seems better for EA to strifle trade with second hand games and licenses on this way. They even abused customers on thievery in the past years and that was the point for me never to use their newer games. The last one was Dead Space 2, which is working very well on wine.

Quoting: mrdeathjrOther companies repeat this case like Ubisoft (Another company dont have any interest in support drm free games)

^_^
Also a company forgetting about the loyal customers. Both done so wonderful games in the past and even got wonderful names like System Shock or Beyond Good & Evil.

@sobkas: Hrmpf, good answer at all. But for me I don't want to give EA any data, even if this is only some kind of email-address and username at all. So I'm foregoing "Mass Effect 3" and any other game with Origin in general. :P

What? Did I really read correct? They fixed the bug for SpellForce (link [External Link]? So I can install and use the game with no errors? Yeah, that's kind of good news. I LOVE WINE!

Dying Light From Techland Has A Little Hint About Linux Support

*sigh* Just another game being published through propietary platform with big DRM and when somebody's account is locked the possibility to use the license playing the game is gone. So: Not really worth even if the game itself seems to be nice at all. :dizzy:

Quoting: HamishDark Forces II was one of the games I grew up with, but it sadly does not even work in WINE.
Hey Hamish!

For me that seems not really correct at the moment: I've got the full game working under WINE: http://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x3k5cr_Throgh_jedi-knight-spiele-und-unterhaltung/1#video=x2dirua [External Link] :D

EDIT: Just to mention also got mods like "Jedi Knight Enhanced" working with WINE ... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2dxjzj_jedi-knight-04-unterwegs-in-abwasserkanalen_videogames [External Link]
