This will be the item on the Radar with the image of an eyeball and the equation (Euler's Identity) - An equation that is well know because it's considered to be mathematically beautiful. However, this is the bit where it becomes relevant - "e^(i π) = -1" is an enigma, it's mathematically possible but strange and inexplicable for most mathematicians. In other words - Life is Strange.
To quote a mathematician:
To quote a mathematician:
It is absolutely paradoxical; we cannot understand it, and we don't know what it means, but we have proved it, and therefore we know it must be the truth.

Berillions - Check that you aren't opted into the beta. The update was to the official build, I don't know if it was also pushed to the development build.

Ok, played the update a little last night, performance is still excellent although there were just a couple of stalls where fps dropped to ~48fps for a second before returning to normal, averaging 90fps.
Apart from the new stamina bar, I didn't witness any of the improvements but I was only playing one mission and it's a huge game.

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTIf I'm not mistaken it was that game where they did not make any promises regarding linux support in the long run? Why would I buy the game in case it will stay as a beta all it's life?Because it's the best f'ing game in the world?

Quoting: GuestEveryone has a great framerate, when sticking in Singleplayer. The performance drop comes within multiplayer environments, due the rendering and processing of AI and assets which is done by every client by its own. That's not entirely what I've been reading on the forums - yes, multiplayer is bad for almost everyone, but a fair number of people are also complaining of bad framerates in singleplayer including a couple I interacted with who have the same setup as me. I have no explanation for it, but it seems the situation is a little more complicated than which hardware you are using.

Downloading now, but in terms of performance with 1.42 I was getting a minimum framerate of 60, up over 100fps at times, with everything on max except draw distance which was reduced a bit. (GTX 970 4GB + i7-4790K + 16GB RAM).
This seemed to be in stark contrast to many Windows users who were seeing lousy performance with the same hardware.
If performance drops with the latest version I'll be very disappointed.

Arma 3 Linux port to update to 1.54 tomorrow, there's more good news too

Fantastic news - Huge Arma fan, HUGE. I bought and have been playing it on Linux and was a little worried that they wouldn't keep the updates coming, especially the new expansion 'Apex' ** which is due out soon.
** I've already pre-ordered it even knowing I might never be able to play it, yes I'm that big of a fan.
