Wow OZS thank you, that makes me feel a lot more confident in future knowing my voice doesn't annoy at least.

Will look to get a wind shield asap and the fellows on our irc (#gamingonlinux on freenode! join us) gave me some great advice on reducing the noise from within Audacity too so next weeks one should be far better.

As for the umming and ahh'ing I know it's terrible heh, it's because I didn't prepare anything it was just spur of the moment to get things going really, the next one will be better with what I say hopefully :)

The problem with the video quality was OpenShot, my local video is perfect at 1080p so it's being compressed on export oops! Next one again will be better :)

I will look up a foam shield, do they really help that much?

As for recording desktop - I usually do full screen games, this one doesn't have that option and the script I use (which is the only one I’ve found that actually works) doesn't have a windowed option.

I just use OpenShot for sorting the video out.

Sadly it doesn't yet work without minor hacks on nvidia, see this post [External Link]. I hope they fix that it's a bit annoying.
