Quoting: toorI feel now that my money should rather go to Valve than to them for sure.
They haven't been a part of Humble Bundle for years.

Total War: ROME REMASTERED from Feral Interactive is out now

Quoting: ElectricPrismI noticed on the Steam download page it reported that it will take 43.95 GB and not the 70 GB not sure why (Maybe it's more if you also install the original version too)
As noted in the article, it's up to 70GB if you download the free DLC.

Seems like game store GOG is doing well overall in their new figures with revenue up 114%

Quoting: CatKillerIf that's so now, then it's a recent change.
In the last year or two the API became available for Linux builds, I remember developers widely complaining about it for a long time then eventually saw a developer mention it was finally available. I imagine this was back in late 2019.

Trine 4, Hotline Miami 2 and Floor Kids for Stadia Pro in May and more updates

Quoting: NugrudSorry for a noobie question, but I'm new to stadia and I'm not certain if I claimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on Stadia Pro can I still play it for free (on Pro) after April 30 or not? In other words I'm not sure what "keeping a game" in Stadia means.
It works the same as PlayStation Plus and whatever Xbox Gold thing is nowadays.

When you claim a game, it stays in your account and playable while you have Stadia Pro. If you stop Stadia Pro, you cannot play your claimed games until you subscribe again. All account can, however, buy games on Stadia like any other store to keep them.

Metro Exodus and Hellpoint in May's Humble Choice, along with a new subscriber discount

Quoting: JuliusIt actually runs fine in medium settings on a mobile Geforce 970m @ 1920x1080. No idea why you would think you need a 3080? Maybe at 4K?
They're probably referring to Ray Tracing.

Quoting: RoosterSo I shouldn't even consider buying this with 1080. Gotcha.
I have a 1080 and it performs great.

Quoting: gojulI don't know for other people but even with a GeForce 2070 SUPER on Debian Bullseye (KDE) I faced dozens of crashes on Metro Exodus. Looks like the port is a bit sloppy given the testimonies on Steam. However the game is damn beautiful... when it works.
Seeing mixed reports apart from the current AMD issues which will be solved in Mesa. For me, the crashes I've had all happen on Windows too from lots of Windows user reports. I've been very happy with the performance but even on Windows it's super buggy overall - but still also somehow a great game.

The problem with CPU Model is we take user input on that, we aren't listing them in a database like we do with GPU models so it makes it difficult. Eventually I plan to upgrade that to rely on a database too, as then we can accurately store core counts and such. Remind me on it in a month or two :)

Humble Bundle replacing purchase sliders with less generous options

Quoting: thoughtfulhippoLiam, as a Humble Partner how does this affect you? I saw no mention of the impact on partners in their blog post. While I rarely gave anyone zero, I always rewarded GoL and Linux devs more. Looks like this will no longer be possible.
Well it for sure means we get less, since I know a few people did up the amounts to us. We've steadily gotten less from HB over time anyway, especially since we've not covered a lot of their bundles for lack of good Linux support. I emailed Humble to see how this new change affects normal partner cuts, as yeah we've heard nothing so far.

Quoting: ageresI bought a couple of $1 bundles recently and wondered where did the slider go... I used to give more percentage to GoL. What share will Humble Partners get now? Nothing?
We'll just have to wait and see, they've not told partners of any changes.
