Quoting: Para-GlidingStill don't understand: we need new frontier to access those changes, new units and maps or not? This is a free update as noted, so no extra needed.

Quoting: GuestYeah, indeed. When I read 'since 2008' I thought that must be a different Apogee than the one my bell was ringing. So is it the same, or a different one?Same one, it was officially split in 2008 from 3D Realms when a friend of 3D Realms' founder sold the name to Terry Nagy in 2008 who founded it officially then as Apogee Software.

Edit: actually seems they did update it, is clearer now.

Quoting: PhlebiacEdit: maybe they updated the page since the article was written, but they do list GeForce as well as "NVIDIA RTX/Quadro, NVS"They could definitely make the list clearer for sure. Not exactly clear. The Windows table separates GeForce properly, the Linux table does not and mixes ot woth RTX so it's hard to tell exactly.
Also, you can see that R390 was only affected by one of the issues, so perhaps the other only affects newer hardware; the CVE description is too vague to tell for sure
Edit: actually seems they did update it, is clearer now.

Still leaking memory though, uses far too much. I sure do hope Metro devs fix this up as I would be happy to buy the DLC then too.

Quoting: Liam DaweMy own Metro Exodus fun was shortlived. Now crashes reliably in the desert after I explore there for 5 minutes. Have logged my own support ticket now.Curiously, turns out Windows users have lots of crashes in the same area. So at least the hardlocks in my case are not specific to Linux. Windows users suggestions were to lower graphics, so I did and sure enough - no more desert crashes <_<
