Heroic does let you install anything using Wine too, yes but naturally any integrations and updates are not available.

But proposals get turned into reality. People were commenting on if the proposal was to go through. People were right to worry, because even if it was coming in a later Fedora release (44), it would have caused major problems.

You can't argue away peoples genuine concerns.

This is why the Steam Deck is still partly the king of handhelds, they kept it simple.

I just hope for Steam Deck 2 they cut it down to at max 2 models. 512GB and 1TB would be fine.
