Quoting: Perkeleen_VittupääWhy don't i get enthusiastic and excited of these Stadia news?

I am trying. There must be something wrong with me.
You don't need to be? Not all our news is directed at everyone, some of what we cover is just for whoever is a fan of the game/service/software.

Total War: THREE KINGDOMS - The Furious Wild announced, on Linux 'shortly' after Windows

Quoting: KohlyKohlThey still haven't released the last two patches from over two months ago (presumably because they were busy porting Total War: Troy over to the Mac).
Just looked that up and yup, they're like two months behind on patching, that's pretty bad from Feral.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyThe randomized tech tree thing is . . . interesting? But really weird. Hi, I've got spearmen and fighter-bombers. Or, well, I would if I had any steel or oil . . .
Well, it would be matched up in such a way that things will still make sense and be doable but just in different orders - I assume anyway, otherwise it would be pointless. I'm sure they've thought of that.

Quoting: razing32Curios how much the Linux demographic overlaps with the sports demographic.
Well, management sims like this are a very different breed to your FIFA and Pro Evo. I know plenty who do Football Manager and don't touch the actual sport play games like FIFA.

Quoting: DragosakMint is higher on distrowatch than Ubuntu for instance and used to be number one there
Never go by Distrowatch, it's a terrible metric. However, in our own stats and Steam's stats, it very clearly is a mainstream distribution. Mint has always been very popular. So I agree there that saying it's not is a bit ridiculous.

Sci-fi racer with fancy 4-point physics 'DRAG' is now in Early Access

Quoting: elmapulwhats sci-fi about it?
I was going by some older info, seems they're not actually calling it sci-fi in the official description now. I think the point is that this is not on Earth. Edit: they also mentioned it's not modern day, it's set sometime in the future.

Quoting: fleskThe last bullet-point in the announcement mentions that the update will be rolled out on GOG once they've verified that it's stable.
Ah yes, good catch, noted!

Quoting: GuestMaybe worth noting that it's on sale on GOG at the moment, -42%.
There's however a load of warnings in the user review section that the developers are not updating the game on GOG. So while it is on my wishlist, I'm somewhat reluctant to buy a possibly outdated version...

Would you have any info on that?
After a little confusion because of the silly version numbers (they added more 11s), the GOG version is currently not up to date for any system.
