Quoting: DamonLinuxPLfrom change log:It's a Source Engine game, and Source uses ToGL. Source 2 has native rendering.
- ToGL/Linux: Changed/tweaked internal texture formats and video options to avoid visual issues on different dynamic lighting quality levelsSo Linux version use Valve ToGL? I thought it was completely native. But apparently I was wrong.
Direct 3D to Vulkan layer 'DXVK' 1.6.1 release out with plenty of bug fixes

In this case, it's the second Yooka-Laylee title, which does not have a Linux build.

Quoting: gojulYooka-Laylee is Linux native, isn't it ?Funny how often such a question comes up around anything Wine/Proton/DXVK related. Even for games that have a native build, fixing issues for them can help fix similar or the same issues across other games too. It's really that simple. That, and there are some Linux builds that just aren't very good and work better through the translation layers.
In this case, it's the second Yooka-Laylee title, which does not have a Linux build.

Quoting: DragunovSo they chose a $2000 laptop that almost no one can afford to start on? That makes perfect sense. They're quite clearly using what they have. We're also talking about ASUS ROG gaming laptops, none of them are cheap.
Merging elements from XCOM and HOMM 'Fort Triumph' is out now - some thoughts

Quoting: PhlebiacFeral Interactive's official line to GOL about the new XCOM was basically "we do not have any information to share". As much as I want the next XCOM too, the way it just appeared out of nowhere at a 50% discount before it's even out is quite telling at how much they expect to get from it...and likely how much content it has.Quoting: KimyrielleFiraxis used Aspyr to port their games.Aspyr did the Civ games, but Feral did the XCOM games. Looks like this new game is a smaller / cheaper one; maybe Feral didn't think there was much profit in it?

Quoting: PinguinoBecause people on MyFirstDistro will buy it, report a load of issues and give it a negative review. I'm all for developers targeting a main distro or two, and I tell them to when testing but the reality is different.Quoting: tuubiI bet it's all about support. Porting to Linux and supporting on Linux are two different things after all.Why can't devs just say "We built this on our favorite Linux distro, which we are willing to support. If you want to run it on a different Operating System, you're on your own. Best of luck, though."

If it was a pre-release, I would have said so.The latest release put out today further improves the Wine experience.Liam, is this a full release?
