I don't really get what you're saying then. Steam has a clear way to pick a default when launching a game. I just tried it with one game already open, and then went to launch another, and it showed up still to pick.

Edit: oh, this is about the switcher on Steam Deck. Not sure why you want more than one game open on Deck anyway?

There already is a don't ask again option when you get multiple choices on how to launch a game. On desktop it's a tickbox "Always use this option", can't remember how it's shown on Steam Deck.

Proton 9 came in May, Proton 8 came in April. So probably not till next month at a minimum I would say.

The law and guidance is multiple hundreds of pages long and they’ve so far refused to properly clarify what they deem comments on comments. Allowing direct user to user replies (including directed quotes) right now is a grey area. During an FAQ it was asked of Ofcom, and they didn’t have an actual answer. Eventually when we get proper clarifications, especially for small sites and that sort of thing, it could return but as the single person responsible for everything I’m just not willing to risk the site or me directly.
