Quoting: Guestyeah im enjoying this website because of people who post on here. Not quite sure what you're trying to say here. When talking about content, I specifically mean what I am going to do.
because they provide me nice information
but i don't enjoy content, why are these all these things marginalized to word content?? if i post on forums and other people too and i read lots of interesting stuff, does it mean i'm content too?? No sorry, i'm a human, not content :S.
So information and content is the same stuff?? Sorry i think these are two different words.
Steam Play versus Linux Version, a little performance comparison and more thoughts

If it's made to run on another platform, it's a port.

Quoting: BeamboomFeral said they actually rewrote the rendering system for Rise of the Tomb Raider...Quoting: thykrIt baffles me that non-native is much faster than native. It's because none of them are really native, they all (including Feral & Co) use wrapper libraries. So to call those releases "ports" are really quite misleading.
I really hope someday some smart software engineers will be able to explain why it is that way.

Quoting: SalvatosSince they were fine with it, done.Quoting: LeopardIt would be nice if there were a tag under his avatar to indicate this, if he's cool with it. This keeps happening.Quoting: KimyrielleIf I remember right, Valve already hired the person behind DXVK, so it's not that they aren't getting compensated for their work. You're talking with him already.
He is Philip Rebohle.

Quoting: FraaarghHey @liamdave, just so you know I also had problems identifying which video was on which OS. It was not obvious if the description was matching the video below (same column) or beside (same line). Thanks for your amazing work btw :DNo worries, I will absolutely look to address this next time. Not something I do often, so I'm happy to adjust future comparison videos.

Quoting: ripper@liamdave The video comparison placement is utterly confusing. Are the descriptions on the left and right, or on top and bottom? It's difficult to figure out which is which. Why don't you simply place it side by side and descriptions below/above, as usual?Sorry, thought it was pretty obvious, never had an issue when others have done it similarly. The video is to the side of the title. Not really sure why it's confusing, since the top most title is far, far away from the second video but I've taken the feedback on and made a note before the videos.

Added notes on Rise of the Tomb Raider and Total War: WARHAMMER II. Neither of which worked, at all. Both tried across Proton versions, disabled second screen and all. It's interesting, because they're newer ports, RotTR was expected to work and yet neither do, I've seen quite a few people have similar issues of it working for one person and not another whereas for me the ports from Feral do work fine.
