The survey has gone back to claiming the drop is an increase. Looks like it's having issues today.

Yeah, I guess I was being optimistic about using a stable Proton version and sticking to that. If they find the issue though with Steam though, what I said still applies.

Quoting: GuestIs it really worth using a version of Proton that's frozen in time just to get the store to claim that it's built for Linux? It just makes it seem like the game has Linux support when it really doesn't. It's odd that the developers now have to choose between better Proton support and a Linux/SteamOS logo on their store page.Well, it's also about control isn't it and stability. If they get a version that works and works well, then ideally you want that to stick don't you. You don't want random updates to Steam Play to come along and break it a couple times a year.

Quoting: eridanired123And Liam, when you say they don't yet ship it outside North America, you are talking specifically about the US or also Canada? I went to check but couldn't find detailed info.I was told very clearly this new unit can't ship outside of North America. I'm assuming, as it needs to pass certain regulations or something somewhere for that which they haven't done yet. Not sure.

Quoting: officernice@liamdawe Have you heard anything new regarding 64-bit support for Steam? Sorry to derail the train, it just popped into my head! :)Nope!
Quoting: dreamer_I think they mean for games, which likely will see it as AMD like Unity games sending data.Quoting: ShmerlInside DXVK only. Steam stats are gathered by steam client, so it will get non-spoofed information.Quoting: ScooptaNvidia cards are reported as AMD cards now, so Nvidia usage will plummet in Steam stats. Thanks to Nvidia pushing their lock-in APIs.Quoting: loggeHaha, now Nvidia gets their parts of being closed-source only! What a day!I'm not sure what exactly you were trying to say but it sounds sort of like a dig on Nvidia yet you have an nvidia card?

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI have a question: The descriptions says "via OpenGL and Direct3D". So, does/can/should Vulkan relate to this in any way?Vulkan support was added in 2.0.6, their description is probably just outdated.
