Planetary Annihilation: TITANS to get more multithreading

Quoting: SixPairsOfFeetI'm a little sad you'd just ignore Zero-K like that, as it is a game I personally adore :) There was also Evolution RTS on steam using the same engine, but I didn't particularly care as much for it, at least when I tried it when they had their steam release …
You're right, I keep forgetting about it. Adjusted.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a ridiculously good local co-op game

Quoting: BeamboomHow old is your son now, Liam? I've got a girl who's six years now, thinking this might be a good game to get for us.
My boy is six, he had no trouble at all with it :)

Valve are already pushing ahead with updates to Steam Play's Proton with a beta channel

Quoting: somebody1121I tried the proton beta and DXVK_HUD tells that the version it's 0.64 not 0.70, it's odd.
From what I've read, it is 0.70 just the versioning isn't right.

The libsteam_api.so is incorrectly referenced, you can copy it in manually to get the game to run, some methods on this thread [External Link].
The password won't work. I'll wait a day or so to see if I can login later.
You need to make a new account, so do that at the login screen
It's under the login button, but it's not too clear :)

I just hope they don't wait a week or so to fix all this, the longer it's left in this state the worse it will be for them. I'm still in a bit of shock it was sent to people like this.

They showed it off at MIX during E3...so how did it get so bad?

China you say? Guess it's Total War: THREE KINGDOMS then.
Would be nice to see the series continued on Linux, however I personally would prefer something different.

That title did come to mind. I would love it if so.

Some thoughts on Valve’s new Steam Play feature and what it means for Linux gaming

Quoting: aFoxNamedMorrisLiam, I'm pretty sure that only whitelisted Windows titles count as Linux purchases. Could be wrong, but I was under that impression from their initial announcement.
Nope. Their wording was very clear.

So, with any luck, all the people who were already buying Windows games for Wine (and any users coming over to Linux from Windows) will start doing so from within Steam directly. Now if you pick it up to play in Steam Play and a native Linux port comes later (for those times when a release is delayed) you’ve still been counted for Linux gaming—which is truly awesome!
Except when the Linux version is published by a different company
It still applies to the wider point. You have still counted for Linux. That above all else is probably the most important thing. You can't grow a market that isn't seen.

Quoting: mao_dze_dunSorry, but you could have straight taken the bills and lit them on fire. This game was DOA the moment it was announces. PUBG can't keep up with Fortnite, but Crazy Juice (which looks like a straight rip-off) will? Please...
You don't have to be the #1 most popular in a category to be successful. Fortnite might be the one to beat, but my friends and I don't even like that one. Consider that League of Legends would be considered more popular than Dota 2, yet Dota 2 is still a very successful game that many players love.
This. There's a massive difference to being successful and being stupidly popular.

If they even manage a following of 2-3 thousand regular plays, they are sorted.
