Quoting: eloIt is a priority to look into post-launch for sure, just in reality it is only 1-2 minutes of people's time until then, so while a very minor bother, it shouldn't affect things too much :)Quoting: liamdaweso it's not an essential feature.Thank you so much for the reply!
Considering that I've seen more people than me already recognizing the lack of shared accounts I think I would consider it an essential feature - or at least a very important one as the community is likely to be rather shared between both sites.

They are also 100% separate sites, so they are not one and the same :), so it's not an essential feature.

Quoting: eloAwesome, can't wait for the bridge to be in place (it really should have been from release). Having two accounts for what I would consider one system seems silly. However, I'll be reading and enjoying it :)Well it's actually quite a bit of work to do one properly and securely. I would rather research it properly than do it half-baked.

Quoting: STiATHow about crafting in game? I usually play eiter PvE or a crafter. Is it possible to focus on gathering/crafting only, or is crafting a 2nd citicen as it is in most MMOs?Crafting was actually given a big boost in the big patch, as gatherers now have their own set of armour and such to unlock: https://albiononline.com/en/news/gatherer-gear-explained [External Link]

Quoting: ProfessorKaos64Hmm, I'll have to revisit building this. Had trouble in the past, even on Arch Linux. I'd love to get an early build up for Debian/SteamOS.I just followed the basic instructions for Arch on the GitHub and it compiled fine, so perhaps this has been improved more recently.

Quoting: KeyrockNope. It will be a pay to play game at release.Quoting: SkipperioWeren't albion online supposed to be F2P ?It will be after full release, afaik. Right now you need to purchase a founder's pack to get into the beta, once it releases you can play the game without spending a cent.

Quoting: SalvatosI loved Incredible Toon Machine as a kid, but I'm a little sad the cat and mouse aren't in this edition. Their animations and sounds made a good part of the game's fun. Normally I'd be wary of buying this out of nostalgia, but one buck for two copies is kind of a no-brainer considering I can make that money back selling a few Steam trading cards. There is a cat and mouse in the game, they are featured in the tutorial too.
