Quoting: ShmerlA pity it's Square Enix, so no DRM-free release is to be expected. The game sounds interesting, but it's another in the list I'll skip.
It's looking like all of Feral's games will be Steam games, you're missing out on a lot.

Something would certainly be bigger. This will simultaneously test just how dedicated a gamer Liam is.
No test needed, in a relationship. I will offer them cookies and nothing more.

Quoting: stickyparadigmThe charts are cool. Would it be possible to additionally add percentages without cluttering up the layout?
Possible, but it depends how as it may clutter it up.

Steam Machines are dead in the water according to Ars, not quite

Quoting: m2mg2Isn't Ars also the organization who had an article that criticized SteamOS for a problem that was actually user error? The guy didn't know how to use his own monitor (4k), didn't read the manual. And they never corrected the article (did they?). As far as I'm concerned Ars is a technical joke with no credibility.
Yep, same website, different author though.

I do have to wonder what agenda the Ars author is pushing, when you see the "promoted comments" be ones with stuff like "SteamOS is a novelty, nothing more." in it.

I disabled ublock origin, still same issue for me it seems.

"On SteamOS Nvidia's Threaded Optimization was set to ON."
You guys should redo your tests using that. :)
We do not use any hidden flags in our testing (to give more accurate results) and we are using a completely different generation of cards.

The main issue I have with using the threaded flag is that it's an OpenGL only flag (unless you can do the same booster on Windows it's a little unfair). On top of that, it's a hidden flag for a reason, it performs different across different games, drivers and GPU's.

Our benchmarks are very in-line with what Phoronix did too on the same cards.

They have been having a few technical issues at rollout. May be worth trying again tomorrow as it's going to be pretty popular today. Connecting my account took forever.

It is dependent on Steam's API as well, so if Steam is having issues it will also affect it. Mine also found zero eligible games, so I don't think it's quite right, or it's stupidly region locked.
