Since I asked people not to keep quoting all that gamergate bollacks, and people have repeatedly not listened, I'm locking the comments before I have to deal with more comment reports and more shit.

To make it clear: We don't want anything to do with GamerGate, or any discussions taking everything with it into a hell-pit.

If it carries on past this comment right here I will begin deleting them and any that reference them.

Debunk the article, talk about performance and such and don't focus on people directly. After I was harassed by people I simply wont put up with it in my comments, end of.

SteamOS is actually based on Debian, not Ubuntu.

Aspyr ports also suffer a big performance drop compared with Windows.

Valve games do not run faster on Linux, that's really old information, their benchmarks even showed Valve games.

DiRT works just as well with the default as it does with community templates. I am on Ubuntu 15.10, only adjustment I did was add the udev rule you need which I covered before.
