Bioshock Infinite Early Linux Port Report

I'm pretty damn happy with it, my only issues are the textures flickering, but it doesn't happen everywhere, and the stutter when loading a new area (I'm sure a few optimizations can be done for that somewhere?).

Quoting: fizzgigThe Game doesn't work for me any longer. Before I had FPS ranging from 8 to 26... now I have solid 80 FPS but everything is blue! :D

Quoting: Xpanderso...bloating your $HOME directory is a now a new trend among all unity games? :(

edit: I dont own the game so i dont know for sure if it does that.. but there are games what like to do that sadly
A lot of developers seem to do it, as it's the old way to do it on Windows it seems, but even Windows has data dirs since Windows 7 (at least).

LEGO Minifigures Online Is Not Coming To Linux, Sadly

Quoting: pbLiam, you should know better than that. You didn't share your question, so we can only guess how it was phrased, but obviously the person who answered has no idea that Linux=SteamOS or that there is some work going on behind the scenes, or both. Besides, every single PR manager you will contact will there you 'there are currently no plans to port this game to Linux' even if they are already porting it, so that they don't have to clean the sh*t if the port gets cancelled or takes ages.
PR emails are done through their website, so it didn't actually give me a copy of the exact question I sent.

I basically pasted SteamDB contents to them, and asked about the Linux version with that info.

I don't get any input lag, even with framelocking on, so maybe I can do a video after all!

Quoting: XzylGame maybe racist.
Not at all. It shows racists - but you are fighting them.
It actually gives you a choice in the first racial scene, a game isn't racist if it's talking about it FYI.

Quoting: loggfreakmy oppinion: "were currently moving al Direct3D things to openGL"
well if you developped the game in OpenGL in the first place that would save a lot of effort
Yeah well hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it, and we can't expect everyone to start with what would be ideal for us :)
