Dota 2 Managed To Hit Over 1 Million Players

Quoting: eigensinnigHonestly I think it is a common place to say that the dota community is the worst thing. I used to play wow in wine until I definetely quitted all not native linux games and I couldn't tell any difference in the communities. Just like anywhere else, there are nice and not so nice people.

And about the language problems... you just have to accept that there a lot of different languages in the world and nobody can speak all of them, so sooner or later you'll meet someone who can't understand. It is just the way it is, and it's actually a good thing.
I disagree.

It's obvious when someone doesn't speak English, so why are they unable to tell I don't speak their language? Yet they repeatedly spam their voice/text chat in their language like I'm supposed to speak it/understand it. It's annoying, and does ruin it.

Sadly, Strife seems to have a player draught, myself and Samsai tried and failed at finding a game last night :(

Quoting: edqeA disappointment to see that OOTP wasn't accepted to the list. The company has been supporting Linux for a long time and they are making one of the best manager games available, OOTP16 will be released in March.

Nothing to do with acceptance, just an oversight! Added.

Quoting: liamdaweYeah, I've added Shadowrun since I guess it has hit the goal for Linux, but I don't count games already playable in beta as "coming".
I don't think Linux was a stretch goal for Shadowrun. It was listed right from the start.
You're right I was thinking of Underworld Ascendant, my bad.

Quoting: ricki42Shadowrun: Hong Kong will have a Linux version and is supposed to release in mid-2015.
Also, Chivalry, depending on whether you count the beta as already on Linux.
Nice to see lots of good games coming.

Quoting: SkarjakDivinity: Original Sin is an RPG, not a platformer. :)

This list looks really good. A nice mix of indies and bigger budget games.
You saw nothing, NOTHING.
