Quoting: Liam DaweThe point is to play more games and Proton is a constant win.
If the point was to play more games and nothing beyond, I would install Windows.

Obviously, there's something else, something more (or we wouldn't be here), and everybody is free to draw their line where it feels right for them.
I get what you’re trying to say, but there’s a big difference. One is Windows, one is just a compatibility layer on Linux. Yeah people can draw whatever line they want, doesn’t mean the line makes sense.

Quoting: Linux_RocksHopefully we get a native Linux version of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. Team Reptile has been great about making them, and all their other games on Steam have them. I bought it on Steam vs the Switch because of that reason.
Platinum on ProtonDB and Steam Deck Verified. Just sounds like you're missing out if you actually wanted to play it.

Quoting: ElamanOpiskelijaIn many ways, Linux gaming is moving back and forward at the same time.
Only if you refuse to use Proton for whatever reason. Linux gaming is constantly moving forward thanks to it. The point is to play more games and Proton is a constant win.

Super weird. Especially considering my Steam Deck and desktop are entirely different combos but both have the issue with the Native build but not Proton.

Would be nice if Flathub actually mention the Beta stuff on app pages if the app in question has a Beta available <_<. Shouldn't have to hunt for these things.

Update: as a clarification, this is not a "new distro" but doing a bunch of fancy customizations directly on top of Fedora. The text was edited to reflect this.

its not exactly an game, in the same way that mario maker isnt an game... well mario maker has levels made by nintendo, so techinically its a game, but this is like an "game engine" with tons of games made by the users, so techinically now we have tons of games more than we did...
This. Even if you don't like it (there's good reason, it has a lot of issues) or have never played it, Roblox is one of the biggest gaming platforms in the world.

Quoting: rustybroomhandleHumble Bundle, remember they used to have keys for Steam, their own store and.... Desura. Remember Desura?
Humble ports weren't exactly great, and many left broken.
...and yet we were quite happy with them. That's saying how far we've gone since then.
Yeah, same with some early ports from the bigger few. We took what we had, now we know we can get better.
