Just because it isn't commenting on by Valve doesn't mean it's fake, Valve hasn't commented on Half-Life 3.

We report on everything we can, even fun rumours like this. Deal with it people and move along.

Quoting: wleoncioI've actually heard from a couple of sources that the Linux version is actually running faster than the Windows one. Can anyone else attest that?

BTW, I wish GOL had polls so we could get a better idea of that kind of thing. It would also be useful for that whole Witcher 2 is slow/OK discussion.
The more people that request a poll system the more likely I am to implement it :P.

Actually you can create games without programming with things like Construct 2 & Clickteam's tools. They are visual drag and drop stuff and people have made some impressive stuff with them.

Making a game is not difficult, the difficulty depends what you want to call a game. A simple asteroids type game or a simple puzzle game is still a game you don't have to think of something like a Call of Duty to be a game.

I didn't mean it like a walk in the park, but it's far easier than it ever has been thanks to the engines which is more my point.

I think that is a stupid article personally. As a reply from Gamasutra stated:
Like the idea of a second videogame crash, it's a prophecy of doom that never seems to deliver but is always on the horizon.
When indie games are so easy to make (how many engines are there?!) we will see more, not less.
