Quoting: dibzI wonder how this applies to stores like GOG, where the installers can be used on multiple computers with a single purchase.
Well, you can do the same on Steam anyway. But it does just add to the list of questions Unity need to clear up, especially since GOG provide the completely offline installers heh.

Happy Birthday to Steam as it turned 20 today

I really wish I knew the login for my original account, but it has been lost to time :'(

Currently it's only supported on Gamescope when ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=1 is set.
This actually only applies to the EXT_swapchain_maintenance1 part. present_wait is supported on (most) Mesa + Wayland setups regardless of Gamescope (but might be a bit weird on Gnome), as well as Nvidia + X11. Not sure about Nvidia + Wayland off the top of my head.

Sorry if the release notes didn't make this clear.
Thanks for the correction, made an edit :)

Quoting: Mountain ManI'm not going to get in a long, involved discussion about it, but "boring, woke trash" is probably the best description of Disney Star Wars. To be fair, modern Star Trek isn't much better.
Respectfully, I can't take anyone at all serious who uses "woke" as some kind of derogatory term. Just reminds me of the "this engine is woke" meme [External Link]. I've been thoroughly enjoying all the new ST and SW :)

Quoting: WorMzyGenuinely disappointed with this one. Do they go into any detail anywhere about why they're not doing a Linux release?
3rd party studios under Paradox as the publisher almost never do Native Linux. Quite different to Paradox Development Studios, so this is actually pretty normal. They also publish games from Iceflake Studios, Triumph Studios, Romero Games, Squeaky Wheel Studio Inc and so on all that don't do Native Linux.

Would really like to get it, but not with that abomination attached to it...
Uses the EA App.

Half-Life Alyx NoVR mod to get a huge upgrade in October

Quoting: GuestMandatory reminder: Not worth playing unless you experienced Half-Life: Alyx in VR first.
I don't think such a complete stance is really helpful though. Tons of reasons why someone can't / won't get a VR kit. From price to accessibility, mobility issues etc.

Quoting: GuestThat being said, while the mod is bound to stay janky forever, it's impressive seeing that it is still being worked on.
I disagree here as well really. There's actually nothing in the game mechanically, that they can't move over to some form of KB/M control and still have it work well overall.

The atmosphere will never be the same, but making the story more accessible is great for everyone.
