Steam Increases SteamOS Branding On Its Store

It doesn't irk me at all. Getting down to basics Linux is just a Kernel anyway, SteamOS is the distribution.

I think it's quite sane for them to show it there.

Oniken Action Platformer Released On Steam For Linux Using Wine

If anyone is to use a "game creator" type SDK I wish they would use Construct 2 rather than Clickteam's MMF, at least construct 2 has Linux exporting due to being a HTML5 engine.

Steam's January 2014 Hardware Survey Has a Linux Drop

Quoting: AnonymousI don't think SteamOS counts at all, because the survey pops a window when asking for information and that simply doesn't happen in Big Picture mode.
This is why I think it will be automatic on Steam Machines.

It will be interesting to see it once they add it in, I am guessing it's too low a % right now to fit into it, but towards the end of the year I expect it to rival Ubuntu for the top spot.

I am guessing that a Steam Machine will auto send it to them without requesting.

A Wizard's Lizard A Crisp 2D Action RPG Released For Linux

I agree it is a similar argument to PC vs Windows, but the point is if someone says PC you have to dive further as it creates confusion.

If someone says controller, they 99.9999% mean a "game-pad". That is my point, it's not even remotely confusing and I've not seen in any of my years on the internet anyone say "controller" when they mean mouse and keyboard.

It's nothing like saying PC, people know a controller means a gamepad as you always say keyboard and mouse otherwise.

No one ever says controller when they mean keyboard and mouse.

You are just being pedantic.
