This sounds like a day one purchase now. I have high expectations for this! Thank you for the update.

Endless Legend Could Come To Linux, With More Votes

Registered and voted as well. This needs a heck of a lot of attention. I had already given up on Amplitude, and now this. Amplitude is like a nasty former girlfriend who keeps giving you hope, then snatches it away. This on/off game is getting ridiculous.

Skullgirls Is Now Being Ported Officially, And Not By Volunteers

Great to read that it will be a native port. I do wonder why the porter requested that they remain anonymous, however. Have Feral, Aspyr, or the individual porters we know of ever voiced such a request previously?

Quoting: liamdaweI did message the developers asking to clarify when Linux will come, no response.

I absolutely adore the Castlevania games on the DS and have been yearning for more ever since. To get a Kickstarter campaign from the very maker of the Castlevania franchise for a game that will be heading to the PC, specifically Linux, with gorgeous 2D art in high definition is a dream come true. I will buy this when it's out, and I will buy it hard.

Quoting: metcardthey should let knockoutgames do the ports. shadow warrior is quite possibly the best windows to Linux port I've played, and the support on the steam forums by kog are second to none.
I have never heard of KnockoutGames before, but I am thrilled to hear that they are doing native ports, and really good ones at that. Is KnockoutGames a single guy like icculus or is it a team like Feral or Aspyr?
It's just one guy apparently.

He done an excellent job with Shadow Warrior.
I see, they did Braid as well. I own it, but have not touched it yet. They also ported Outland to Linux in 2015. Haven't heard complaints pertaining to either game's Linux port, so that is definitely a good sign. I bet that if they had taken up the job of porting Darksiders and Darksiders II to Linux, both would already be available for purchase!

Thank you, Liam, for periodically checking up on games like this that are taking a ton of time to reach us. It's appreciated. Considering how long it's taking, it better be a good port.

Arma 3 Is Officially Being Worked On For Linux By An External Team, Won’t Be Native
29 Apr 2015 at 6:26 pm UTC

I have enough native games in my library and over 30 more native games on my wishlist that I will purchase and play at some point. I don't have the time or the money for games that aren't native.
