I'll buy this for myself and a friend at full price, provided that it is a good port. Never owned or played Darksiders.
The Witcher 2 Has A New Beta For Linux, The Improvements Are Staggering

Quoting: pmk1cNice! I can't wait to try out the beta. And here's the thing: I really don't care how games are ported from Windows to Linux as long as they are. I just have a problem with games being buggy and unplayable like the first release of The Witcher 2 for Linux. But as Dying Light shows: Native Ports aren't immune to being bad ports. It just so happens, that Aspyr and Feral have been doing really good work with their ports and some others just didn't. But it seems some of them are getting there.
And we shouldn't forget: All Linux ports are done for the release of SteamOS / Steam Machines. So from their point of view they still have time to deliver.
Quoting: liamdaweIndeed @pmk1c, the Dying Light port has put things firmly into perspective for me, wrappers aren't bad by default, and Virtual Programming are now starting to really prove themselves. To be fair, Dying Light has shown to have absolutely terrible performance on Windows as well. That, plus it is not even a port as Chrome Engine 6 supports Linux natively and the game released for both Linux and Windows on the same day. What Dying Light appears to be is an extremely buggy game that happens to also be on Linux, whereas The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a game that works great on Windows but was wrapped up quite poorly for Linux. The two are not really comparable in my eyes.
Considering how terrible Dying Light is...well now, things are a bit different around here.

I'll buy the complete edition from Aspyr in about a year when all the DLC is out and I should be done with Borderlands 2.

I am quite glad that I did not preorder this, therefore sticking to my rule of never preordering anything. Wait and see is the best policy. You cannot go wrong with it.

I will always prioritise my money and time, both limited resources, to buy and play Feral and Aspyr ports rather than VirtualProgramming wrapjobs. It is not just the extremely poor performance that plagued many users at the start, and still plagues a few to this day, but the attitude and fabrications presented by a certain VirtualProgramming developer that have put me off completely.

So Techland, what about Hellraid? I am quite a bit more eager to have Hellraid available on Linux.

Quoting: Segata SanshiroI did guess Might & Magic: Heroes VI [External Link] back in the day but that was long before I even knew that Heroes of Might and Magic III is being released once more. Well, Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia anyway. Did not even get a "Close!" or anything from Aspyr, so I doubt it.Over 1000 guesses across the net, and nobody has come close.Just a theory, but could it be Heroes of Might and Magic III? Seems like the kind of thing that would be done "for love" and there's a re-master out soon, but Windows-only despite having had Linux and Mac ports in the past.
Darth is right, we did this one for love. We hope you like it, but we are cool if you dont
Wild stab in the dark, but if not one guess in 1000 has been right, it will probably be something a bit obscure like this.

Quoting: DrMcCoyYou can just jump straight into Dragonfall. Apart from a few NPC that cameo in Dragonfall, there's not much overlap between Dead Man's Switch and Dragonfall.Thank you! Judging from the comments people have been making when the subject comes up, and from reviews as well, Shadowrun: Dragonfall appears to be a considerably better game than Shadowrun Returns.
