I really preferred the 1st game of the series as being a more traditional RTS. This one just feels weird and I just don't like it. I guess this is mainly a taste opinion, but the game does run well for me.

This was a game that I actually refunded when I got it at launch. It was just a departure from the furst one that took away some good things that made it different than other 4x games. I rather enjoyed the pausable real time nature of it.

Yeah I was one of those that had the glibc issues; the community workaround kept me from refunding the game.

I am disappointed, but I rather they do this than release a buggy craptastic game. Good call on them owning up to pushing the game back.

After I fixed the monitor issue it worked fine for me. Reset my computer and now it won't launch. Weird.

The great thing about this game is that it is a game that you can chill and brain-dump. Its not that complicated and very rewarding.
