I played this game while on Windows but I only got a 1/4 of the way into the game before being distracted. It is exciting to see this game getting a Linux port, I may buy it on GOG just because I want to support their effort.

This makes me glad I held off on purchasing Dying Light...Techland is known for horrible initial releases, though if they are given time Techland will patch those lingering issues that make the game unplayable. Until a report on how well this upcoming patch fixes the game, I shall hold off on purchasing since I don't want to be burned by a bad purchase.

Quoting: KeyrockI felt that very rare windows Envy because of "Shadows of Mordor" I watched an LP of it...Sadly the ending is disappointing but the gameplay is amazing! I love the nemesis system, it is robust and cruelly playful in a way that a game hasn't been in a while. I am looking forward to other games finally moving to Linux because of the coming of SteamOS.Quoting: wojtek88Guys, looks like Shadow of Mordor, Saints Row IV and Batman Arkham Knight are coming to Steam OS this year! Great news. Look at the Steam website for details. All those are great, Shadows of Mordor is the one that has me the most giddy. That game was giving me a serious case of Windows envy.

Well while this game looks good, I am glad I waited before actually purchasing it! It surprises me that the game is this broken, another example of why gamers should never pre-order a game without knowing the state it is in on release. However, if Techland makes this game playable, I will buy it because I am interested by the idea.

I have been eagerly awaiting this game for Linux, I hope they can sort all their issues...Clockwork Empires looks fairly good for being in the alpha stage, a project that I can get behind if a Linux version comes out. I still play Dungeons of Dredmor, one of their first games as Gaslamp Studios such an amazing Dungeon Crawling, random game!

I am really happy that Linux is finally starting to get some attention from Game Developers. There are several games on my watchlist for Linux, this isn't one of them but despite that I am happy this native port possibly happening. Hopefully the Bioshock Infinite native port is confirmed, I wouldn't mind trying it out as you can't ever have enough games!
Linux Lagging Behind On Minecraft User Statistics

All I am concerned about is how long Minecraft will be updated on Linux, for I really enjoy that game...I am always coming back to it and starting new worlds to build in. Especially after big updates, I play for months before giving myself a tiny break of a few days before hopping back in. I would hate to see Linux Support to be shuttered, Minecraft is such a special game that I can't ever stay away from. I would never go back to Windows for a single game, I like Ubuntu and Linux in general and I wouldn't want to run it in Wine as it would take a performance hit.

Awesome, this is great news I bought this game before I switched to Linux, I had been on the fence it was after hearing the deadline for the Windows 7 support ends on 13th of January of next year. I had gotten about halfway through Always Sometimes Monsters before I officially switched to Linux. Now I can play this game through a few times in order to get some different endings.
