There is a project to create Linux support for Razer products. Has anybody tried these drivers?

Quoting: KimmoKMIt would have been nice if Creative Assembly did a first-party port but my fears some months ago appear to have been unfounded. The performance is fine.If you want to try a Creative Assembly first-party port, try TW:Attila. It's been rock solid, but the performance is borderline at best.

"many of these issues could be solved"
This can mean an event that happened in the past, or something that might happen in the future. One of those grey areas of interpretation I would say.
Great to hear that the Linux version is still progressing though.

I didn't think we'd see the day that a Total War game comes to Linux before the MAC. This blog post from Aspyr seems to sum up the situation well though: https://blog.aspyr.com/2016/11/01/state-mac-gaming/ [External Link]
Anyway I'm getting this for sure - I've been drooling over it long enough.

The Talos Principle updated again, new public beta improves their Vulkan support some more

I did some benchmarks though - Damn!
OpenGL: 71.8 Ave FPS
Vulkan: 157.2 Ave FPS
This is a game changer for sure.

Quoting: nieknooijensTested it on vulkan on a GTX1070 and it works really well! occasionally some models are glitched and it has some movement hiccups but nothing really stopping you from playing.Which driver version are you using? Up to and including 367.44 I had hard lockups when starting with Vulkan (980ti). Now on 367.57 there are no more hard lockups but it does crash every couple of minutes. So improvements, but still not really playable.

Quoting: MblackwellSomething is wrong here.... the first scene in the game pretty much no matter what setting it seems stuck at 50fps. It drops lower or a bit higher as I screw around in the menu and exit back to the game but it always ends up back there. Doesn't matter if I change resolution or whatever else. Vsync is off.I've got the same behavior, but I'm locked around 40FPS, whether Ultra, or Medium, 1080p or 720p, always the same within a couple of FPS. I've had this with other games too, and just haven't worked out what the bottleneck is. CPU is not above 60% loaded across all cores, and although the GPU reaches 100% on Ultra, it's 75% on Very High and less as detail goes down. It's strange to say the least.
I'm running Ubuntu 16.04, i7 4770k @4ghz, 16GB DDR3, GTX 970 SSC (driver 370.28).
