Quoting: FredOI've not had that problem so far, but maybe it has to do with this general change from the last patch list:

"Improved download and patching speeds when games are installed to a traditional non-SSD hard drive"
Entirely possible, or the recent fix for another file-system, do you have your Steam games on an SSD? If so, that's probably why you don't see it.
I have a standard HDD for installed games, but it's an old NTFS partition (cough, need to change that..), so maybe that's the difference?

Quoting: ellieferalWe were so chuffed to be sent the cupcakes. Such a cool gesture. And they arrived just in time for elevenses! (Yes, we are very British.)
I thought only Hobbits had elevenses ;-)

Football Manager 2017 now has a playable beta if you own the game on Steam, Linux included

Why is this not available in Germany - too violent?

Edit: Ok, it looks like a licensing issue.

What have you been playing recently, and what do you think?

Just finished the Dawn of War 2 campaign. Bloody good.

This will be bought - this game is totally my thing. Open world, driving around blowing things up, bashing goons and watching the sun set in the Australian outback - bring it on!

X-Plane 11 flight simulator will release this year, with Linux support
11 Oct 2016 at 5:18 pm UTC

There's not much choice in flight simulators on any platform, being such a niche market, but X-plane is very good and these new feature look very welcome. The current UI looks like something from the DOS days, but honestly once you learn what is where it's no problem. I'm looking forward to version 11 enhancements.

Superposition Benchmark, a new GPU stress-testing tool from UNIGINE

This looks really impressive - I was waiting for them to get a benchmark out based on the Unigine 2 engine. The time is nearing to start melting some GPUs.
