Quoting: FredOThe first 3 are going for just 5€. Hair Works is not working with Nvidia 415 driver in the Witcher 3. I understood that they fixed that, but I lost track in which driver version?
You'll need the Vulkan developer beta driver [External Link] 396.54.09 for VK_EXT_transform_feedback. On Ubuntu you can get it from this PPA [External Link].
Thanks for the info, I'll try that version out!

Apart from getting Total War: WARHAMMER II, I bought these Steamplay games, and the experience is like running a native game - amazing:

Ryse: Son of Rome
Crysis 2
Batman: Arkham Origins
The Witcher 3

This seems like a good time to release it too, considering CA have now finally finished the game, with what looks like their last major DLC. Also with Vulkan this should be a smoooth ride.

It's been a continuous Christmas since Steam Play was released. I've been going through my shamefully large, and previously dormant Steam Windows library, and having a ball. The only problem: Not enough free time :D

I've been putting "some" hours into Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. It runs perfectly with Steam Play, and it really is a great game. During the week I played through Tesla Effect. Needed corefonts installed, but then it ran fine too.

What I'm really waiting for is Total War: WARHAMMER II

Life is Strange 2 confirmed to be coming to Linux in 2019 from Feral Interactive

Great News. About people playing this on Proton before the Linux release (Reports show it's Borked currently), I think Feral will get the money anyway, for 2 reasons:

1) If you buy a Windows only game and run it with Proton, it counts as a Linux sale - discussed here:
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/some-thoughts-on-valves-new-steam-play-feature-and-what-it-means-for-linux-gaming.12412

2) From the time that Feral announce a game, they get included in Linux related sales - so it must include Proton.

For those on NVIDIA, the 396.54.05 driver seems to have some noteworthy performance improvements

i tested this on the older drivers but will test again on the new drivers.only downside is i have a gtx 970,i no longer have a 980ti.
What happened to your 980ti? My one literally went up in smoke after just 3 years of use. Very disappointing.

This update changed the game for me from a grind to a really fun experience. The fighting is just so much more fluent now, and I'm actually progressing! A big thanks to Defiant for sticking with it and delivery such worthy improvements.

3 out of 5 of my most played games are Total War games, so if it's Three Kingdoms then bring it on!
