As someone thats making a Distro.. good TF luck getting that $7k per "child" from me.. and as a Coloradian I am ASHAMED of my state!.. this has NOTHING to do with "protecting mu kids" and everything to do with pushing us to mass surveillance, just like NONE of these age verification laws rather it be the UK, Brazil, or ANYWHERE else has ANYTHING to do with "protecting mu kids" and has EVERYTHING to do with mass surveillance of everyone

Hopefully they provide means for those of us that can to make custom images like Bazzite.. the only way I can use Bazzite is via my custom image because its too bloated for my tastes.. KDE Linux though I think will be the opposite of that but I want to be able add performance tweaks under the hood and that will require being able to build my own image because I do think they are going the generic route in that regard.

I will give Blizzard one thing.. their anti-cheat is mostly server side and the bits client side doesn't require kernel access and should be the standard way to implement anti-cheat as they do with their Warden setup

It doesn't matter if they're the second largest or the largest or the third largest. What matters is their size compared to the sum of the others. Well, in the end to the others that take VAT, but I won't try to figure that out.
My point was that the US is a minority in the whole PC gaming market. Depending on whom you ask it may be below 20 or around 30 percent, but either way a minority.
(I had deleted my post because I decided not to go into this deeper, but you were too fast. ;) )

The only Europe countries that even show up in the top ten is Germany, UK, and France.. and those 3 combined are less then Japan.. the rest are MUCH less then one of those 3. like I said the vast majority of gamers that spend money do NOT pay a VAT

All this so called "backlash" has been for nothing LMAO... From the very beginning Mozilla said they would do this even BEFORE the "backlash" started.. but NO ONE took the time to ACTUALLY read their initial announcement. We live in the age of rage bait and people reading a headline and NOTHING else. Now granted Mozilla should be disabling them by default but it is what it is

Yeah, I'll retest it with 0.8.2 proper to see if latest changes fixed that. Debian shouldn't have jumped the gun and packaged a pre-release version.

Yea it was a bug in the RC2 release because was several games I could not launch.. it motivated me to create my own package to go in my repos and block pulling it from sid archive but its the nature of tracking sid 1:1
