reboot the game@LoudTechie no matter what I do I get kernel panics, and/or Kwin or mutter crashing.. just gona wait for some proton and kernel/mesa updates as I can't refund the game as got it from Green Man Gaming . should just spent the extra few bucks or so on steam lmao and been able to refund
copy the save data from the Remake prefix to the Rebirth prefix
change to windowed, set resolution to 4K and change back to Full screen in order
pin dynamic resolution to 50-50%

Game runs like HOT garbage on RX 6600 XT stutters, and kernel panics, Kwin & mutter crashes on both KDE and GNOME respectively.. but guess can't expect better from Square as heard even on windows plenty are having issues. Guess will come back to this in 6 months see if its fixed..

Oh Nice! I expected it to work on Linux day one but was concerned about my GPU with the system requirements they put out. nows its decked verified should be able to get it running nicely then.. I don't pre-order many games these days but did so as soon the pre-orders went up for Rebirth lol

About darn time! I got impatient and managed to install the steam deck recovery image on my PC and have it default to desktop mode on boot.. I will be swapping my install once this is released if there are any differences compared to the steam deck recovery image

This is great to see. every dev should follow suit and STOP trying to blame Linux for their cheating problems.. promise them less then 1% of their entire player base is not where their cheating issues lie... cough cough Winblows

Well Nintendo should fail this law suit.. has come to light today the patents they are suing Palworld over were filed in May 2024 and granted LAST month... there is NO way that can stand.

Lets not Ignore the fact that the game Pokemon is inspired by and copied many of the OG Pokemon from and EVEN had a Ball throwing mechanic to catch the monsters existed many years before Pokemon.. If anyone should be suing anyone here should be Square Enix suing Nintendo because Square Enix owns the rights to said game. Japan should be ashamed for giving Nintendo a patent on something they did NOT originally come up with and the sus thing is this patent was granted to Nintendo after it was known Palworld was under development as trailers and such were already out
