Thoughts on the official Steam Deck Docking Station

I have the official Steam Deck Docking Station station as well and I believe most issues come from the low power supply unit.

I exchanged the included 45W one (same as the one the Steam Deck ships) with a 90W charger. Since then the issues with displays and other peripheral reduced a lot. Not 100% perfect but before it was almost unusable.

It's as if they are creating device ecosystem that they want / enjoy themselves but also making it available to others in the process.

It didn't really remind me of C#. It's comes down to two version of one simple mechanic:

1. Change variables within a script: Copy & Paste of values
2. References (public) variables across scripts: Copy & Paste of values as reference/pointer.

Forcing Proton (tried Experimental, 7, and 6) I get greeted by an io exception. Same my Arch and my Fedora notebook.

Well, at least it works great on my Steam Deck.

Nice, gotta try this as a Steam Deck dev environment for compiling plain C / Vulkan apps on the device itself.

Ron Gilbert did a few posts two years ago when he switched his development setup from Mac to Linux.
He order a Linux laptop, made a post after and a few month later the Linux native version of Dolores was ready for testing and eventually released. (Same in-house engine as Return of Monkey Island.)

IDK if he is still developing on Linux nor the platform plans of Devolver, but my guess is chances are high for a native Linux version.
