Minimon Monster Catcher Released In Steam Early Access (UPDATED)

I advise staying away from this game. Reading the developer's other responses to posts, it's bringing back some dark memories of some (rare) incompetent and unethical indie communities. I know it's bad to judge something based off a person's attitude, but I would like proof to know I am wrong, and I'm not willing to throw money away to find out for this.
Edit: The real developer stepped in.

Quoting: coolboberMaybe that someone is still young? I'm not saying that young age is something wrong, but older people have a little bit different reactions for lifeThat's my assumption (based on Blizzard's demographic audience). Though, I'd say even adults are just as bad (ie: extremists).
Edit: Whoops, sorry for double post. :)

I'm not even worried about this whole fiasco, from either angle. o.O
People act like, well, people. Throwing out statistics that we're a minority isn't a new thing. It's false promises and asinine statements about a minority to exploit them is what really gets under a sane individual's skin, not what this guy is spouting.
Really glad to hear Blizzard's stance though. Unfortunate, but valuable to know. Just makes it easier to eliminate future speculations from the company while I don't consume their products (stopped years ago). :)

I think that's one hell of an accomplishment.
Own 111/120. :)

Quoting: tony1abI am on a permanent boycott of the company who made the ubiplay DRM system. A pity. It looked good.I don't blame you, but this game isn't published by Ubisoft on the PC. They just simply own the license to the game. As the developers have stated, the only restrictions they have is not being able to make a sequel to the game:

Lots Of Big Games Confirmed For SteamOS, Torchlight II Now Out, Payday 2, Mordor And More Coming Too

Of course, a better experience would be nicer, but hey, I'm pretty sure that's my hardware being generally crap and not meant for gaming. :) I will be upgrading to an actual desktop this year. Can't miss out on all this awesome stuff!

Quoting: EKRboiI can run it on my laptop.... I honestly didn't think that was going to be possible since many games I have experienced with 3D rendering don't play well with Intel's integrated graphic card (HD3000 I believe). With low shadows/lighting it's around 14FPS. I'm hanging around 22-24 FPS if I disable shadows all together, which I find quite reasonable and playable.Quoting: GuestTorchlight II have better performance in Linux than Windows, it loads much faster and i get more FPS. Glorious port.Agreed! @ 1080p it seems to be running really well. I have "crazy" specs so it is hard to say if the port is good or bad. I however, am nearly positive that an amazing GOL headline article is incoming though. :D
