Steam getting expanded support for Soundtracks with a Sale Event on January 20

Quoting: Philadelphus... there are plenty of ways to get exposure to game soundtracks besides simply playing the game these days. Maybe you watch a Let's Play or a streamer playing a particular game which you aren't interested in playing yourself, but which you really like the music to. Many game soundtracks can already be found on YouTube if you want to preview them before buying.
Ahhh ... gotcha. Bit of tunnel vision on my part, I'm afraid. Though I don't watch "let's Play" or live streams of gamers on something like Twitch, I'm a bit chagrined at not having thought of that myself.

Btw, thanks for your well considered, well written answer. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated! :)

I haven't ever bought a game soundtrack, so I'm probably missing something. I can see the logic behind making a game's soundtrack available to those who owned the game. They would've heard it when they played the game and know if they wanted to hear more of it outside the game. Myself, I can't imagine wanting to buy a soundtrack I hadn't heard before. Is this something people do a lot? Just curious.

I love itch.io. It's where all the cool artsy and intellectual kids hang out drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes, and talking revolution.

Event Horizon drop a new teaser for their upcoming RPG Dark Envoy, releasing this year

If combat occurs in situ, as it does in the Divinity games, etc., instead of everyone being teleported to one of a handful of combat arenas, as it did in Tower of Time, then I'm totally gonna get this game.

But if combat is done like it was in ToT, where the party is teleported to a location completely disconnected from where the combat encounter occurred, then I'm gonna pass.

One of the things I like most about turn-based RPG combat is the logistics of moving a party through an environment and how that flows into the environment differently to meet each unique encounter. Every time ToT teleported my party from a hallway, say, into cavern so I could fight the enemy, I was yanked from any immersion I was experiencing.

Eventually I became bored with ToT as the same combat settings began to reappear over and over again. Here's hoping Dark Envoy does it differently.

Quoting: NanobangWait, BL3 is now available on Google and MicroStore Soft, but not yet on GoG or Steam? If this doesn't change soon it be time to see if it's been released in 'torrent form' after the holidays, and 2K can suck it.
BL3 Steam date has always been April. That has been said since they announced Borderlands 3.
(unbounced-Tigger voice) Ah, well, thank you. Looks like I went a bit 'RaagghhRR!' there for a minute. ;)

My vote
Seconded. It's official as far as I'm concerned. Fosswash is a word now.

Congrats to Krita, that's a great program! These 'Mega-grants' are great but only deepen my cynicism and harden my resolve toward Epic. Bad people can do good acts and remain as bad as ever.

How many months have passed since basic function of the game does not work?
I got fed up with waiting and have been playing the Proton version. It works just fine!
It's been about 8 months now. I checked recently. It's got me thinking about marketing an Aspyr voodoo doll on Etsy ... XD
