This is why I originally switched to SCC back in 2016 ... I was tired of Steam's hit-or-miss reliability. SCC is way more stable, reliable, and frankly powerful than Steam's SC driver.

I joined Github just hoping to contribute to the success of SCC, and it wasn't too much later that I began supporting it on Patreon as well.

I'd urge everyone who uses SCC (or, you know, flipping adores it) to head over to Patreon and help Kozek out with at least $1 a month, or to Github and contribute there. :)

Got Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall and Trine added through connect ... but I also have a few titles I---did I buy them? I don't own them on Steam, but I don't remember buying them on GoG either. Hmm. Oh well, Merry Chrismahannuquanzika to me.

I respect the hell out of artists like the cat behind BG games, who put pursuit of their art first and selling it second. What these people create is a work of vision, creativity, and love, and in this way what bearded games is doing is more in line with the Linux community than 99.99% of all the titles on Steam, GoG, Origin, and Epic combined.

Also, Liam, I Gimped a quick BG logo for the article to use instead of the grey/white penguin pic. I've uploaded it to Imgur [External Link], it's 720 x 320 px and hopefully can just be dropped into where you need it. Hope you can use it :)

Here's hoping it will give us something like Abzu on Linux. It looks beautiful in the all-too-brief video, though the scuba diver looks a little less than lifelike and more like a plastic bath toy I had when I was a kid.

Any disappointment I might have had over news of a delay is immeasurably offset by the sheer tenacious gumption of Sludg Games to deliver a Linux port. Can I say I love them? I love them. I really really do.
