This is nice to hear! I've owned the first Anima since it became available on Linux, but I haven't yet played it ... looks like it's gonna move up in my backlog!

Like---well, most of my library---I own it but haven't played it yet. Also, I have a theory about why it's not more popular: only a fraction of the population have the requisite sense of aesthetics and comedic timing to appreciate this game's genius. I'm serious. Really. I'm not just being an elitist snob. We can no more help it than someone can help being very tall, or exquisitely beautiful. It's just a matter of (admittedly debased) genetics and a lot of terribly inebriated, ad hoc breeding.

I've been quietly rooting for Atom since I was first aware of it. Each update makes it a little bit harder to hold off buying it in its larval, Early Access form. Has there been a final release date announced yet? I didn't see anything on a cursory once-over of the Steam page.

Oh look! An awesome looking FPS is coming to Linux! Hooray! I too wishlisted this when I read about it here on good ol' GoL, and I'm pretty stoked to see it's coming soon!

That there's a functioning pre-alpha Linux demo is promising enough to prime my optimism pump, except Kickstarter. Here's hoping cherubs of Lovely Linux Light shower them with the gilded chocolate coins of luck.

The co-op space exploration game 'PULSAR: Lost Colony' just had a huge update

Steam claims I put this on my wishlist only last month---but that's gotta be wrong. Some weird wrinkle in the writhing gelatinous goo passing for the eldritch threat to our dimension known as "Valve time." I've been seeing Pulsar in constant rotation in my Steam "Featured and Recommended" section forev---no. Not forever.
For-fucking-ever.
I would see it and I think "yeah, call me when you get out of Early Access you ambitious promiser of Linux gaming sci-fi...something something." Worse than forgetting everything about this game, I didn't even realize I had forgotten everything about this game. The only reason I knew it was a sci-fi game was that every time I saw the word "Pulsar" on Steam's Store page, I saw a space ship.
Well fuck all that and fuck my reliably unreliable shit for an excuse memory. Pulsar looks like near perfect, and at 40% off? I just bought it! HA! Take that dire forces of Darkness and Despair!

This game feels like it' going to reach a tipping point in the not-too-distant-future when the masses suddenly realize what an amazing game this is, and that it's available for pittance. Which is good because this game deserves to succeed and succeed big.
