Quoting: Purple Library GuyHuh. So let's see . . . if Google ever gets Android stuff working on Chromebooks, that would give you Steam games via link on Chromebooks as a side effect.
Many Chromebooks already have Android support, including my Acer Chromebook 14, which I've had for months. I have both Android apps and Ubuntu running on it.

This game works great with a Steam controller, but this is the icing on the cake right here:

"A free custom Level Editor will be released sometime after launch."

The developer of Helium Rain gave an update on their sales, low overall sales but a high Linux percentage

I just picked it up last night and enjoyed the 50 minutes I played. I'm just wondering if there's an exploration element to this game. Can I just go wandering and find interesting/useful things or is that a waste of time and I should just stick to the contracts I find at stations?

Rise of the Tomb Raider is now officially available on Linux, here’s a look at it with benchmarks

Quoting: HoriWhile the gap between Windows and Ubuntu performance is quite small (compared to other ports), it's still sad that it exists and I hope they are going to continue working hard to close it.
From these numbers, it's possible if it had been originally developed on Linux, it might have been equal or even better. This might be the best we can realistically hope for when playing a major commercial game ported by a third party.

Quoting: Mutant22Hello everybody.
I just registered today to share my experience with the game. For some reason the game is running better on linux than windows version (windows 7 DX11) :D . It is a relatively recent windows install (installed about a month ago) so it shouldn't be bloated much. I am playing at PC in my profile, dual booting with windows to test it. I have recent NVIDIA binary driver 396.18 and i tried to disable new spir-v compiler (if it does something, i don't know). And I set CPU governor to performance mode, too.
It looks as though it doesn't support Windows save data. Is that correct?

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered announced by Klei with a brief teaser (updated)

Make no mistake, these games that are coming out as "remastered" are carrying that label because of they're being released for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, which are advertised as 4K consoles. It's probably not worth it to buy it again on PC since you could already set it to whatever resolution you wanted anyway.

Gleaner Heights, a farming sim like Stardew Valley that's a little on the darker side is now on Linux

Quoting: razing32Hmm , steam lists it as Mostly Positive.
Any chance the dev would send in a key ?
Seems getting to the promised "dark" content is a bit of a slog.
Curios to see a playthrough before i consider a purchase.
Interesting. I'm not sure I'd want to grind for hours just to see some darkness. I could just go play Streets of Rogue and get it instantly...or even just play real life. :'( Somebody hold me.

MMO 'Project: Gorgon' released in Early Access with day-1 Linux support
15 Mar 2018 at 12:37 am UTC

Quoting: TcheyIt is Unity, and the game is ugly not because of technical limitation, but because of complete lack of artistic taste. Even the colours are ugly. It will never change, until they get a proper designer, and some money to pull the assets. Sadly, i don't believe it will ever change. Happily, the game is great anyway.
Right. I think this was deliberate. They chose to make the game look like that, perhaps for whatever nostalgia they were trying tap into with the hardcore MMO crowd. I don't even like MMOs, but I'm glad there's something on Linux for everyone.
