Quoting: NyamiouAsking that they have a finished product like prototype at this stage is greatly exaggerated. I also do have my doubt but I hope they succeed.Of course I wouldn't expect a finished product at this stage. But calling that picture they posted on facebook a real prototype is misleading. The challenge with this project isn't hooking up a PC to a small screen, that's the easy part, it's fitting all of that PC into a handheld with nothing overheating (plus the 5hr battery life they claim). And then having enough power to run games. That they claim it runs 'any game' is also misleading I think, since it seems they are referring to streaming, but that isn't clear from the pitch video which gives the impression that the thing will run The Witcher 2 at playable framerates. I'd love to have a handheld Linux gaming PC, but this project has so many red flags that I have serious doubts it'll succeed. I hope I'm wrong and they do succeed, but anyone who considers backing this should at least be aware what the current state of the prototype is and what games you can realistically expect to play.

It's a tiny screen hooked up to a big mobo placed in front of an empty shell...

Quoting: IperpidoAnyway, it seems thay actually have a prototype, as thay said on their facebook page.I don't think that's a working prototype, just the prototype for the casing. According to their reply in the kickstarter comments:
Quoting: SMACH teamPrototype: Next week we're going to upload a new video showing and explaining better the current prototype and plan. But the current prototype is the "motherboard" that you see in the video, it's not encapsulated. To create an encapsulated prototype we need $200.000 and 4 months of work of IMASD. And that's why we need the funds from Kickstarter. Take a look at the timeline image to better understand the steps of the production. So it's basically this

The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians, a surprisingly great dungeon crawler

Quoting: Crazy PenguinLet me quote from the developers blog: http://www.managames.com/DungeonGuardians/2015/11/29/52nd-weekly-update-modding-sdk/ [External Link]This is really weird. I'm surprised GOG rejects games like this. I'm still disappointed that they don't have Assault Android Cactus, the developers say they contacted GOG, and GOG never even replied.
"Except that, I got the answer from GOG : they said it looked like a good & interesting game, but were afraid it was too much of a niche game for their store."
Dreamfall Chapters review

I stopped playing early on in book 3 I think, not quite sure. There were initially some issues with importing the choices from previous chapters, and then I didn't want to restart. I may get back into this once it's released completely. But at the time I got a bit tired of it. I found the toddler section really boring, it's just crawl around and find stuff in the house. I think they could also have made the characters in general move a bit faster. You have to run around quite a lot to talk to people and find stuff, and just pressing down the w key for a minute or two to watch the character leisurely jog somewhere gets old really fast. I usually like to explore so I tend to do a lot of running around. It didn't help that I found the map in Propast initially quite confusing, since it doesn't really display the different levels clearly. That let to some additional running around until I had the map figured out. In the end, I decided I was spending too much time running around and too little time playing the game so I stopped. Pity, because it's an interesting world and story.
New Linux Gamer Survey For December

Since many people buy no or only 1 game per month, would it make sense to change the retailer question to cover 2 or 3 months? That would still track changes over time, but would be less hit-or-miss for people who don't buy as many games.

Quoting: KeizgonAt first I thought this, but that's only for the top section that gets shown to everyone. Everything below it is Linux/SteamOS if you're on that platform. Though it would be nice if they would fix their 1st party ads to only display Linux games on our end, amongst other things.Oops, I didn't even notice you can scroll lower! Thanks for pointing that out!

So I'm pretty sure that during the last sale only Linux games showed up on my store front page. Now it shows also Windows-only games, and the OS list is only shown when I hover the cursor over the tile. Is that happening for everyone?

It doesn't say which card these numbers are for, or what settings. It's really hard to conclude anything from this.
Also, if I understand correctly, with the new drivers Catalyst runs on top of the open-source AMDGPU driver? If so, how much of these gains are from which part of the driver? If it's really per-game optimization, it's likely all proprietary.
