I still remember the moment I fully switched over to Linux.
I had experimented before, first with Ubuntu and Wine, running WoW at just 60 FPS (a huge downgrade compared to Windows performance), and even earlier tinkering with a Knoppix disk my dad had lying around.
Now I’m on KDE Plasma, and it’s incredible. Everything integrates so seamlessly with Wayland and HDR. My media server is still on Windows for now, since it was easier to manage folders at the time, but with Docker in my toolkit, I’ve already prepared a migration script and plan to move it over next year.

Valve gets pressured by payment processors with a new rule for game devs and various adult games removed

I agree with what Maki said, on the one hand, there is a lot of trash adult games on Steam, and seeing less of them is a good thing. But there are also developers making actually decent adult games and it would be a shame if they aren't being allowed anymore on Steam to publish their games.
It was one of the better things about Steam that almost any game is welcome there, and payment processors definitely shouldn't have a say in what a platform is allowed to host.
This is not a good development.

Let the enshittification begin! It didn't even took them a month to start.
Sure, part of the excuse is laws, but they are also putting stuff behind a paywall:
"Images which contain Pornographic content or contain Extreme violence must be posted to the supporter image share".
Not that I care about the images, or the extreme violence, not my thing, but it's clear they are going to change more so that the free users are being forced to start paying.
I hope I am wrong, but a change in ownership of a popular platform never ended well as far as I can tell/remember.

On my setup, HDR unfortunately isn’t being detected. I have three monitors: two are standard SDR displays, and the third is my OLED TV (which supports HDR). The TV is connected to my receiver, which also supports HDR, and the receiver is then connected to my PC.
However, KDE incorrectly assumes that my receiver/TV does not support HDR.
I have no idea what’s causing the issue or if it’s even fixable.

Finally! I have been waiting for this game.
This will be my first souls-like game (not a fan of the other games, too depressing visually), but I am going to try and actually get good before I pull out the cheat trainer and go full on easy mode.

Good to hear. I will mainly play the game on the PC on my TV, but probably will try and see how it performs on the Deck.
Been waiting ages for this game. Can't wait for it to come to the PC!

The base game is 80 bucks though. It's insane. Publishers have truly lost their mind.
Luckily there are alternative sites that offer cheaper key's or you can wait for this or next years winter sale on Steam and get it at a more reasonable price.
The game does look amazing though, I'll give them that, but the price is too much for a pure single player experience.

Nintendo is such a terrible company. I am glad I have never given them any money. I am one of the lucky few who doesn't like the underpowered consoles they make or the games, and these patents are just ridiculous.

Quoting: sobinsirilDoes anyone else have issues with qbittorrent working on Plasma 6, Arch Linux?Worked fine for me after the upgrade. I did have a version of qBittorrent installed that worked with Qt5 since the official version looked bad on Plasma 5 but now with Plasma 6, I installed the normal version of qBittorrent which looks good now on Plasma 6.
It doesn't open for me unless I open it from a magnet link or a torrent file.
