It looks like Grimrock, but in an interesting setting. Nice.

Developers of We Happy Few have started working on the Linux version

I'm really glad they seem to be doing the port in-house, rather than contracting it out to a 3rd party. I have all types of love for Feral, Aspyr, Virtual Programming, Icculus, TTimo, Ethan Lee and the like, but when a studio does the port themselves they learn how to code for Linux, learn how to deal with the pitfalls, and learn all the tricks of the trade, vastly increasing the chances that their next game will come to The Penguin, and it may even be coded with Linux in mind right from the start in future games.

Quoting: slaapliedjeWish we could get Conan Exiles ported. I'd rather play that myself. Plus boobs and physx for junk if you're into that sort of thing.
Dong physics are the next evolution of video gaming. On a serious note, I would love Conan Exiles on Linux. It's one of the very few survival games that has me interested.

Some thoughts on Axis Football 2017

It's a decent game and it feels good supporting the developer since they genuinely listen to feedback and the game has imporved by leaps and bounds each year in the 3 years they have put this out. Plus, this is literally the only alternative to Madden available AFAIK.

Albion Online set to expand with some large updates planned

I played it for about 2 weeks after launch then gave up on the game. I didn't have that many technical issues, except for the servers being down more often than I would like, but I just found the game incredibly boring and tedious. Nothing in the upcoming update interests me in the slightest. I might check back on this game in a year or so, assuming it still exists at that time.

Tyranny - Bastard's Wound expansion trailer released along with a release date

That's a rather uninspiring trailer, and this comes from someone who quite enjoyed Tyranny. I'm still going to get this and play it, mind you.

Quoting: artvandelay440Well, I mean if we're shooting for the stars here, I'd knock on CDPR's door with a whole big box of apology and ask/beg is there's any way they'd consider The Witcher 3 being ported to Linux by this fine fellow.
I'm not about to apologize to CDPR or VP for anything, I didn't threaten anyone and all my feedback (to VP) was respectful and meant to help fix issues. I won't presume to speak on behalf of the bad eggs.

As for games I'd like ported, Nier: Automata will always be right at the top of my list until it does get ported.

Brawl of Ages, the fast-paced free to play strategy game has made all cards free
21 Aug 2017 at 2:08 am UTC

Smart move IMHO. Brawl of Ages was unlikely to be able to compete with Clash Royale if it used the same type of microtransaction model, since Clash got there and took that market so much sooner, but it might be able to gain traction now since the biggest complaint about Clash lately tends to be the money you need to invest in it to really be able to compete, especially at high levels. An alternative to Clash that doesn't require you to sink hundreds of dollars into it to compete at high levels might just lure some of that market.

The hack and slash RPG 'Vikings - Wolves of Midgard' is now available on Linux

It looks good. something I'll definitely consider the next time my budget allows it.
