Looks like GOG Galaxy won't come to Linux any time soon, as it's "not a priority"

In a related story, I have completely stopped buying games from GOG a long time ago.

We Happy Few to launch on April 13th 2018, Linux release will be 'on or shortly after'

I'm going to assume it will come out on Linux "shortly after", and by "shortly after" I'm assuming 4 or 5 months. That way I'm not setting myself up for disappointment and if it comes out earlier it will be a pleasant surprise.

Quoting: ExpalphalogWhat is a "hardcore rpg?"
Lots of different stuff for your character to spend their points on when levelling up: A bunch of stats and so many different skills that you need several pages in a game manual just to list them all. Your party will get horribly massacred if you have a poor composition or are underleveled. At low level you will need to save scum since your characters will die A LOT and they don't just magically recover after a battle, you need to take them to the temple of their deity to bring them back and it's expensive. Just a very unforgiving game that can take a lot of time and trial and error to figure out what works and what doesn't and which skills are worth investing in and which aren't. These days, you can always look up a guide. Back in 1992 the Internet wasn't really a thing yet, at least not what it is today, so you couldn't really look up a guide online back then, you had to figure it out on your own.

I forget if the original games had automapping or if I had to break out the trusty graph paper...

I don't know what it is, hence don't know whether to be disappointed. :S:

Some thoughts on the new strategy game Sudden Strike 4

Purchased. Currently downloading. :D

What have you been playing on Linux lately and what do you think?

I was playing Albion Online but, much like during the beta, I have given up on the game after a couple of weeks. There's just no payoff to the grind, it's just more grind. There's no story whatsoever and the combat, while not terrible, is nowhere near fun enough to motivate me to keep grinding on its own.

I am currently playing Pyre. It's fantastic. One of the most unique and enjoyable "combat" systems I have played in a RPG in a long time, plus the characters and presentation are all top-notch.

Edit: I hate typing on phones so much.
