This game has been on my Steam wishlist for nearly 2 years. It will continue to sit on my wishlist, unpurchased, until they finally release it fully... assuming that ever happens.

Quoting: KeyrockNow I wish I hadn't watched Jesse Cox and Dodger's lets play of this. I might still get it as it had multiple endings and the killer is random.
Well, after watching their playthrough of Contradiction, I can't blame you, it was the loveliest experience.
Absolutely. Jesse and Dodger's Let's Play of Contradiction is still my favorite Let's Play of all time. Their Let's Play of Dr Dekker was not quite as amazing, but still awesome nonetheless. Dr Dekker has some great characters, but no one quite as magnificent as Emperor Paulpetine.

Also, the acting in this is *kisses tips of fingers* magnifique! Jaya is the freakin best, I hope she doesn't wind up being the killer in my game. That would break my heart. #NotMyJaya

I have no idea how this clue translates to Niet: Automata, but please let it be Nier: Automata.

Albion Online shows off the Guardians, huge beasts to take down in PVE
24 Jun 2017 at 4:02 pm UTC

The biggest failing Albion has, in my opinion, is it's complete and utter lack of any story whatsoever. I mean, there are lore bits to be found here and there and you could eventually piece together something vaguely resembling a story, I guess, but you are just given no direction whatsoever. I understand this is a sandbox game and you're supposed to "make your own story", but even the most sandboxy open ended games generally give you something to work with at the beginning. Usually a game gives you at least some kind of broad direction, or at least an overview of current affairs or world state at the beginning. In Albion you get dropped into a world, tasked with crafting a few basic items to teach you how to gather and craft aaaaaand... nothing. I wish the game gave you something, ANYTHING, to have some kind of story, direction, purpose as to why you are endlessly grinding. Why? Why am I swinging a pickaxe for hours on end? To what purpose? Give me some reason to brave the wilds and swing a pickaxe other than so I can swing a better pickaxe better in the future. This game gives you nothing. No direction, no quests, nothing.

Man, this game feels like it's been in early access forever. I hope it releases fully some day. Until then, I'll continue to pass it by.
